#JAXTAPOSITION is a collective exhibit of photographs from artists who call Jacksonville, Fl home. We decided to arrange their works citywide allowing the images to occupy and contrast the advertisements that are typically displayed. The juxtaposition these images create is the concept behind our exhibit. The city will be temporarily transformed into a gallery space for local photographers offering the public a view through their lens.
We put our heads together attempting to configure the best way to collectively express ourselves all while giving something back to the city of
#Jacksonville. Our initial ideas ran into numerous road blocks. We chose to utilize the road blocks as a catalyst in the evolution of our idea. We identified that taking action was imperative in accomplishing anything, let alone our own creative goals.
